Josh Carl - Founder and CEO

Josh oversees all management and strategic activities of the firm. Drawing on his diverse financial services and entrepreneurial background, he founded Carl x Dimes (formerly The Endeavor Companies) to aggressively pursue a broad range of differentiated opportunities with best-in-class partners and operators. Throughout his career, Josh has been actively involved in the structuring and managing of over $1 billion worth of assets across traditional and alternative investments including public markets, venture capital, private equity, real estate and special situations.

Prior to founding Carl x Dimes, Josh served as the Associate Director of the Alternative Investments Group and Multi-Manager Investment programs for ABN Amro Asset Management – North America and LaSalle Bank. In addition, he was an Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager with Mesirow Financial and William Blair & Company, LLC. Josh also served as an associate with AStreet Capital, a Chicago based Venture Capital firm, and as Director of the Syndications Division for Britannica.com.

Josh earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Finance, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship, and his BA in Business from Lake Forest College. He holds his Series 7, 42, 62, 63, 65, 72 and SIE licenses with the NASD and March Capital.  Josh is a Registered Operations Professional, member of the Economic Club of Chicago, and Board Member of the Israel ParaSport Center.
