Jodie M. Gunzberg
Recently, Jodie was Head of Strategic Partnerships at CBOE Global Markets, where she crafted policies and strategies for multi-party arrangements, expanded into new business lines, and established global fund issuer services. Jodie was also on the Investment Committee overseeing CBOE’s employee benefit plans.
Before CBOE, Jodie was Managing Director at CoinDesk Indices, directing index product management and strategy, and serving as the company's public spokesperson. She defined digital asset industries, shaped index offerings, and created groundbreaking products for 401(k) plans and financial advisors.
Previously, Jodie was Chief Institutional Investment Strategist at Morgan Stanley, heading the Graystone Investment Office. She developed institutional and retail model portfolios, led over 2,000 manager searches annually, and provided thought leadership for roughly 16,000 financial advisors managing $3.5 trillion, including $400 billion for 700 institutional consultants servicing ultra-high-net-worth individuals, pensions, endowments, and foundations.
Earlier in her career, Jodie was Managing Director and Head of U.S. Equities at S&P Dow Jones Indices, overseeing the S&P 500 and Dow indices. Her analysis on women in the workforce’s impact on global stock markets gained notable recognition. Jodie was the most frequently quoted S&P Global spokesperson, and authored a blog recognized by US News & World Reports as a top financial blog. She began at S&P DJI as Director of Commodities Product Management.
Jodie is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute’s Education Advisory Committee. Currently, she is on the Advisory Boards for Bayes Business School, City, University of London, Hofstra University’s Department of Finance, and the Global Commodities Applied Research Digest at the University of Colorado Denver’s J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities. She earned her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Mathematics from Emory University.
